The National Congress of Organometallic Chemistry Group, part of the Italian Chemical Society, will be held in Bologna, Italy, from May 19th to 22nd, 2026.
Join Co.GICO 2026 in Bologna, where leading experts in organometallic chemistry gather to share breakthroughs, inspire collaboration, and shape the future of the field.
Organometallic chemistry continues to represent a cross-disciplinary frontier topic within the global scientific landscape. Its impact on current technological progress is tangible, and its enormous potential for future development is clearly demonstrated by the recent award of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry to research focused on MOFs: metal–organic frameworks.
The Italian organometallic chemistry community boasts a long and renowned tradition in which internationally recognized researchers and promising young scientists—active both in academia and in industry—collaborate within the GICO Organometallic Thematic Group of the Italian Chemical Society.
After several years of forced inactivity, the scientific event that has long characterized this community, the Co-GICO, returns to the calendar with its Bologna edition in May 2026.On behalf of the entire Board of the Organometallic Chemistry Thematic Group of the Italian Chemical Society, I invite you to take an active part in CoGICO-26 by registering as early as possible.
